Abstract

Background: Integrated Services Station (POSYANDU) is the basic health activities carried out from, by and for the community, it is organized by health workers. Service quality is a one-factor influence to interest toddlers visiting the integrated service station. The reason why the baby’s family do not bring their baby to visit in an integrated service station is its service quality. This case causes the baby’s family do not know about the problem of toddlers’ development, health service, and diet. Objective: Finding out the relationship of service quality to the interest of toddlers in the integrated service station. Methods: This study used a descriptive correlational design with a longitudinal approach. Research subjects were mothers who have toddlers age. As much of 85 respondents joined in this study selected by simple random sampling technique. The research data were analyzed using the chi-square test. Result: Toddler's visit to the integrated service station (Posyandu) was an active category (90.5%), and the service quality was in good category (82.4%). Chisquare correlation was obtained ρ = 0.000 (<0.05). Recommendations: further research will be expected to examine the role of the integrated service station (Posyandu) to improve the service quality.
