Abstract

Background: Mental disorders are one of the public health problems in Indonesia. One of the common mental disorders is schizophrenia with symptoms that often appear are hallucinations. Seeing the condition of schizophrenic patients requires an effort to communicate with schizophrenic patients in the Kalibening sub-district area with an approach and interact with patients who have unstable conditions, psychological conditions that are not conducive, thought patterns filled with hallucinations. Objective: Determining the signs and symptoms of schizophrenia with hallucinatory sensory perception in the Kalibening sub-district area. Method: This research used a descriptive-analytic research method using a single variable Signs and Symptoms of Schizophrenia with Hallucinations Sensory Perceptions in the District of Kalibening District. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The number of samples was 63 people. Results: The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents were male (33.4%). age over 40 years is 40 (63.5%). no school or elementary school 55 (87.3%). married a total of 48 (76.2%). Respondents on Signs and Symptoms of Schizophrenia in Cognitive Perception of Sensory Hallucinations were mostly in the moderate category of 58 (92.1%). Affective mostly with quite a number of categories 53 (84.1%). Most physiologically with quite a number of categories 53 (84.1%). Most of the behaviours are in the moderate category of 48 (76.2%). Mostly social with quite a number of 43 (68.3%).
