Abstract

Background: Abortion is one of the complications of pregnancy and one of the factors affecting maternal mortality worldwide, in the Banjarnegara Islamic Hospital for 2 years (2014-2016) there were 162 cases of abortion. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the high incidence of abortion in pregnant women at the Banjarnegara Islamic Hospital. Method: This research method used a quantitative approach with a retrospective study research design. The Chi Square results of this study were anemia factor P = 0.798, age of pregnant women P = 0.602, occupation of pregnant women P = 0.499 and parity P = 0.568 then all Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. Conclusion: The conclusion is the incidence of abortion in Banjarnegara Islamic Hospital as many as 200 patients, anemic pregnant women 49 (23.3%), ages 20- 35 most pregnant women namely 127 (69.0%), moderate pregnant women work, namely 103 (49.0%) and parity The most 2-3 are 117 (55.7%), and there is no relationship between anemia, age of pregnant women, occupation of pregnant women, parity. Recommendation: Recommendations for further researchers are multivariate data analysis.
