Abstract

Background: During adolescence, there are physical changes and hormonal development that causes problems in their sex lives, especially if there is no role from their parents. From the IDHS data there are 59% deviant sexual behavior in women and 74% in men. The results of a preliminary study in SMA N 1 Klirong, there are teenagers who commit sexual deviations. Objective: To know the correlation of role of parents toward free sex behavior of teenager in SMA N 1 Klirong. Method: This research used correlational descriptive method with cross sectional approach. The study was conducted on March 3, 2020. Results: The results of role of parents are categorized as sufficient (76,4%), free sex behavior of teenager is low (83,0%). Statistical test showed a significant correlation between role of parents toward free sex behavior of teenager with significant level 0,001 (p<0,05). Recommendation: The next researcher is expected to examine the effect of free sex on adolescents with other factors such as mass media.
