Abstract
Background: Chronic renal failure (CRF) is a disorder of progressive and irreverible kidney function where the body fails to maintain metabolism, fluid and electrolyte balance. Family support is support given by families who have blood relations in support of the health of patients with kidney failure. Quality of life is the individual's perception of kidney failure patients about their position in life. Objective: Knowing the Literature Review of the Relationship of Family Support to the Quality of Life of Patients with Chronic Kidney Failure in the Hemodialysis Room. Method: The research method used is literature study with PICO feamwork approach. Research result: Based on the results of the journal analysis and The article found that there is a relationship of family support to the quality of life of patients with renal failure (CRF) who are undergoing hemodalysis, with a Chi Square statistical test result <0.05 which means there is a dependent relationship between the dependent and independent variables which are significant. Conclusion: In this review literature family support and quality of life play an important role in a better standard of living for patients with chronic kidney failure to undergo the process of healing and treatment of hemodialysis. Recommendation: It is hoped that further researchers will be able to conduct research directly to find out about the factors that affect the quality of life of patients with chronic renal failure (CRF) in the hemodalysis space.
