Abstract

Background: Adolescents are a period of looking for identity and a time where they are easily influenced by others, one of which is drinking alcohol. The number of adolescents who consume liquor in Indonesia reaches 25%. The impact of consuming alcohol one of which damages organs in the body and therefore needs to be given family support so that adolescents do not fall into negative things like consuming alcohol. Objective: Finding of out the family support that given to adolescent who consumes alcohol in Banjarsari Vilage, Nusawungu, Cilacap. Methods: This research used a descriptive method with a survey approach. The total population of 30 adolescents who consume alcohol using total sampling techniques, so that the sample used was 30 adolescents who consume alcohol in the Banjarsari Village, Nusawungu, Cilacap. Data analysis uses the frequency distribution. Results: The results of this study indicate that family supports in adolescents who consume liquor in the sufficient category as many as 17 respondents (56,7%). Emotional support of 21 respondentts (70%) with lack categories, information support of 16 respondents (53%) with good categories, assessment support of 12 respondents (40%) with good categories and instrumental support of 13 respondents (43%) with good categories. Conclusion: Family support given to the adolescents who consume alcohol in Banjarsari Village, Nusawungu, Cilacap in the sufficient category but what is lacking is emotional support. Recommendation: For further researchers should be discuss abouting the spiritual condition of adolescents who consume alcohol.
