Abstract

Background: Teenagers are individuals who experience a transition from childhood to adulthood. Adolescents at this stage have not yet reached mental and social maturity so adolescents have to face many emotional and social pressures that are contradictory. Mental health problems can originate from the teenagers themselves, parents' relationships with teenagers or due to social interactions outside the family environment, so that as a result health problems can occur. Objective: To know the level of mental health of adolescents in State Junior High School 3 Kalibening of Banjarnegara. Method: This type of research is analytic descriptive research aimed at describing the phenomena that exist both natural phenomena and man-made phenomena; the sample in this study was 162 students. This sample was taken using total sampling. Result: Based on the results of the study found that the majority of respondents aged 11-13 years were 104 (64.2%), the sex of the respondents were mostly 88 women (54.3%), the level of mental health of healthy adolescents at State Junior High School 3 Kalibening of Banjarnegara Regency is mostly 105 healthy (64.8%), adolescents who have disorders in students of State Junior High School 3 Kalibening of Banjarnegara Regency are 0 (0%), and at risk of students of State Junior High School 3 Kalibening of Banjarnegara Regency in the amount of 57 (35.2%).
