Abstract

Background: Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease of the airway characterized by hyperresponsiveness, mucosal edema and mucus production. On the client with asthma have problems ineffective airway clearance to resolve this issue be giving nenulizer. The purpose of writing: provides an overview of nursing care to the fulfillment of oxygenation. Discussion: when examined on 09 June 2016 the client says shortness of breath, cough, runny nose, yellow-green mucus out, when you wake up feeling shortness of breath and when walking into the bathroom to feel shortness of breath. Clients have entered the fourth hospital with the diagnosis that emerges is ineffective airway clearance. Intervention and implementation do is monitor respiration and oxygen status, position clients in semi-Fowler position, auscultation of breath sounds, remove secretions by coughing effectively, provide nebulizer and collaboration with doctors in drug delivery bronchodilators. The results of the evaluation of the third day of the client looks breathlessness, cough diminished, reduced colds, secretions out and respiratory rate 25x/minutes. Conclusion: Providing helpful nebulizer to thin secretions, keeping moisture and treat mucous membrane inflammation of the airways.
