Abstract

Introduction, The introduction of this research is that dyspepsia has discomfort or pain in the upper abdomen. The aim’s to prevent disease becoming complications, can accelerate healing, Antacid drug are the first line for the treatment of dyspepsia disease. Antacids work by increasing gastric lumen pH, these levels can accelerate gastric emptying. tingkatan tersebut dapat mempercepat pengosongan lambung. Research Purposes, The purpose of this research was to determine the knowledge level of antacid drug uses on dyspepsia patients in Buayan Community Health Center, Kebumen regency. Research Methods, The method of this research uses deskriptive methods and analyzed with chi-square test statistics. Data was collected by survey using a questionnaire with 10 questions that have been validated. The samples in this research were 50 respondents. Research Result, The results of this research indicate that out of 10 questions given to 50 respondents, showing data correct answer to questions about knowledge and drug uses which yields 51,6%. Conclusion, The conclusion of this research is the knowledge level of antacid drug uses in Buayan Community Health Center, Kebumen regency still needs to be improved because the results show 51,6% included in less category. Recommendation, The health workers need to do counseling about knowledge of using antacid drug correctly.
