Abstract

Background : Pneumonia is an infectious disease in this world that is generally attributable to mobility and morality. Pneumonia is one disease is still get attention from health workers. The provision of an antibiotics and the treatment of simtomatis is pneumonia. Th e use of an antibiotics used if signs and symptoms of caused by existence of bacterial infection. The use of excessive antibiotics resistance, will cause so it needs to the assessment. Research Objective : To know the profie of the use of antibiotics in patients who underwent adult with pneumonia in-patient during the year 2016-2020 in RSUD Dr. Soedirman Kebumen. Research Methodology : Was used in the study of observational data is retrospective they associate with. Sample in this research using a technique the total by the number of the sampling method of 62 patients’ pneumonia that met the criteria of inclusion. The data obtained analyzed using formulas calculation DDD in order to know the value of DDD is for the patient pneumonia. Research Result : An antibiotics used on a patient pneumonia in-patient adult a priod of the year 2016-2020 in RSUD Dr.Soedirman Kebumen namely Seftriakson 80,36 DDD/100 patient-days, Sefotaksim 37,17 DDD/100 patient-days, Siprofloksasin 25,43 DDD/100 patient-days, Levofloksasin 77,27 DDD/100 patient-days an oral and parentral good. Conclusion : Also lower than the value of DDD Seftriakson 80,36 DDD/100 patient-days, and value of DDD the lowest is Siprofloksasin 25,43 DDD/100 patient-days. With a total value DDD all antibiotics is 220,23 DDD/100 patient-days. Recommendations : The next resarch needs to be done by using the qualitative method
