Abstract

Background, Cases of urinary tract infections at RSUD Dr. Soedirman Kebumen, the number of incidents is still considered up and down. Several previous studies have shown that the use of antibiotics in urinary tract infections has a high DDD value and has the potential to be used irrationally. For this reason, it is nacessary to evaluate the us of antibiotics in cases of urinary tract infections at RSUD Dr. Soedirman Kebumen using the ATC/DDD method. Purpose, The purpose of this study is to evaluate the use of urinary tract infections in adult inpatients at RSUD Dr. Soedirman Kebumen by atc /DDD method in 2016-2020. Research methods, this study consists of observational research with design of a sectional cross study through retrieval of patients' medical records. The study is an analysis of the antibiotic use of adult patients for urinary tract infections in 2016-2020. Research results, Studies show as many as 64 patients with urinary tract infections who received antibiotic therapy during 2106-2020. With three types of antibiotics, ceftriaxon can do 33.85 DDD/100 patent-days, ciprofloxacin 1559 DDD/100 patient-days, cefixim 6.21 DDD/100 patent-days. Total of DDD/100 patent-days 55.56 DDD/100 patent-days. Conclusion, Based on the study of antibiotic therapy that adult patients use for urinary tract infections at RSUD Dr. Soedirman Kebumen blindness in 2016-2020 which is ceftriaxon, ciprofloxacin, and cefixim.
