Abstract

Background: The prevalence rate of mothers giving birth by caesarean section (SC) method is still high, this is evidenced by World Health Organization (WHO) data, the average SC is 5-15% per 1000 births in the world, the incidence rate in government hospitals is on average 11%, while in private hospitals it can be more than 30%. The demand for Sectio Caesarea in a number of developing countries is increasing rapidly every year, the prevalence of Sectio Caesarea is increasing by 46% in China and 25% in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Objective: Describing nursing care regarding the provision of early mobilization for post Sectio Caesarea (SC) clients to increase independence. Methods: The method used in this case study is a descriptive observation method with a case study design. The subjects of this case study were 3 respondents with maternal problems with caesarean section (SC), the data were obtained through observations of early mobilization by increasing independence. Results: After finding the mother giving birth by caesarean section (SC), then the act of giving early mobilization exercises to increase independence. Of the 3 respondents experienced an increase to carry out early mobilization independently. The level of independence can be seen from the results of the observation sheet providing early mobilization for 3 visits. Recommendation: Provision of early post section caesarean mobilization can help speed up the healing process of post section cesarean mothers.
