Abstract

Background: Active exercise by ROM with handgrip exercise can be a therapy as a part of the exercises of activite-passive movement for a stroke patients to simulate their movement of muscule contractions. Hopefully, it can help them gain the missing of extreemity of motoric ability and reduce hipertension. Objective: Describing a nursing care by applying active exercise ROM with handgrip exercise to overcome the disruption of physically mobility of stroke patients. Method: This scientific writing is an analytical descriptive with case study, interview and medical records. Target 3 patients with the same diagnose. Instrumen using by handgrip and WWZ. Measurement using by tensimeter and strengthen of muscle scale Result: After conducting active exercise for 3 days, there was increase of muscular strength of the three patients. Conclusion: ROM with handgrip exercise can show significant result of nursing care for stroke patients Recommendation: Further research is hopefully conducted to improve the exercise in order to get significant results and to increase exercise intensity so that no more other complication
