Abstract

Background: The existence of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) regulations in Indonesia during the COVID-19 period seems to have an impact on many sectors and the continuity of health services in Indonesia, one of which is family planning and reproductive health. MKJP is recommended during this Covid 19 pandemic. One of the methods used to increase knowledge is the media. Media is often used in several ways, one of which is the audio-visual method. Audio visual media is a media that combines audio, sound and visual, namely sight Objective: To be able to know the application of the audio visual method in the use of long-term contraception in an effort to adapt new habits during the pandemic Method: This is a type of case study research. Data obtained from interviews, questionnaires and literature study. This research was conducted in March-June. The participants were 3 postpartum mothers who met the inclusion criteria. The instruments used are videos, questionnaires, stationery and cameras. Results:. Before the implementation, 100% of respondents were knowledgeable enough. After the application of the ausio-visual method, 67% of respondents had good knowledge after implementation and 33% of respondents had sufficient knowledge. And 67% of respondents chose to use long-term contraceptive methods and as many as 33% did not choose long-term contraceptive methods. Conclusion: The application of the Audio Visual Method is effective in Decision Making on Long-Term Contraception Methods
