Abstract

Background:Hallucination isa disturbance of one’s sensory perception in the absence of external stimuli.This can cover all sensory systems thathe is not aware of it.Rebuking technique can be applied to overcome this problem. It is done by doing dzikir to remember Allah SWT with all His gifts. It can bedoneorallyor by saying in the heart. Objective: To describe nursing care for patients with sensory perception disorders: hallucinations by applying rebuking technique through dzikir therapy. Method:This study is a descriptive with a case-study approach.Data were obtained from interview, assessment, data analysis, intervention, implementation and evaluation.The instruments used were SOP, assessment format, observation sheet. The participants were 3 clients with hallucination. For 5 meetings each participants is treated for 10 minutes. Result:After having nursing care by rebuking technique through dzikir therapy,there was a decrease in sign and symptom: from score 4 to 1 (participant), from score 5 to 3 (participant 2), and from score 6 to 2 (participant 3). The ability of participant 1 to do dzikir therapy is more than participant 2 and participant 3, from score 5 to 9 (participant), from score 4 to 8 (participant 2), from score 3 to 7 (participant 3). Conclusion:Rebuking technique bydzikir therapy can helpreducing hallucination.
