Abstract

Background: Diabetes mellitus (DM) patients usully have disorder due to an increase in blood glucose so that it will increases inflammation associated with arterosklerosis. it is a buildup of blood vessels so that the plaque and blood flow is not smooth. nursing care is needed by soaking foot in warm water to improve the integrityof peripheral tissue. Goal: to provide nuring care for DM patiens by soaking their feetin warm water toimprove peripheral tissue. Method: the scientific paper is a an analytical descriptivie with a case study approach. Data were obtained from interview, observation, and documentation. participants were 3 DM patients. Results: after having foot soaking in warm water, there were no more stiff and tingling and no pain anymore. Furthermore, when exposed to slipped by the foot, no-tight feet<3 seconds. Recommendation: DM patiens can apply foot soak in warm water to improve peripheral tissue
