Abstract

Background: Social isolation is a condition in which someone does not want to interact with other people around him. He may feel rejected, not accepted, and he feels lonely. He is, then unable to build relationship with other people or the surrounding community. It needs Implementation Strategy 1 for him (the client) in order to be able to build trusting relationships with other people. By doing so, he is willing to get acquainted with other people. Objective: To provide an overview of mental nursing care of implementation strategy 1 on a problem of social isolation disorder at Bonorowo. Method: This paper ia an analytical descriptive with a case-study approach. Data were obtained from literary study and observation. The instruments used were mental nursing care format, pre and post sign and symptom format of implementation strategy 1, and format of implementation strategy 1. The respondents were 3 social isolation clients. Result: After having Implementation Strategy 1, there was an improvement of all respondents in their socialization: from 0 became 4 in the category of high level of ability (respondent 1), from 0 became 3 in the category of good level of abilithy (respondent 2 and 3). Recommendation: Implementation Strategy 1 of introducing to other people is suggestable as the main mental nursing care for socially isolated clients.
