Abstract
Background: Traffic accidents are events that can occur anytime, anywhere, and happen to anyone that can cause disability and even cause death. One way to reduce the number of victims of disability or death can be done by giving first aid to traffic accident victims properly, quickly, and correctly. Objectives: To determine the effect of first aid socialization on traffic accidents on the knowledge and attitudes of online motorcycle taxi drivers in providing help. Methods: This research method used a Quasi Experiment with Pretest and PostTest designs, on 35 respondents of online motorcycle taxi drivers. The statistical test used is a non-perametric test (Wilcoxone test). Results: The results of the Wilcoxone statistical test show a P value = 0.000 where the p value <0.05 which means Ha is accepted which means that there is an influence of first aid socialization in past accidents on the knowledge and attitude of online motorcycle taxi drivers in providing help. Conclusion: There is an effect of socialization of first aid in traffic accidents on the knowledge and attitude of online motorcycle taxi drivers in providing help. Recommendations for further researchers: It is hoped that further research can develop this research for a wider scope of its territory and it is hoped that future researchers can reach other groups or communities.
