Abstract
Background: Fever is a reaction that occurs a result of a process in the body characterized by an increased in body temperature, increased maternal knowledge is the basis for handling fever in children, motrer’s knowledge in deadling with child fever can prevent complications from fever. Objective: Determining the relationship between mother's knowledge of treatment of fever in children under five years old during the covid-19 pandemic at healthcare center basuki of rahayu hamlet brenggang argosari village. Methods: This study used a quantitative correlation method with a design crosssectional, the sampling technique used total sampling with a sample of 68 respondents. The research instrument used was a knowledge level and handling fever in children under five years during a pandemic covid-19. Results: The results showed that The level of knowledge of the most respondents was in the good category, namely 46 respondents (67.6), then for handling fever in children under five during the COVID-19 pandemic the most were in the good category, namely 47 respondents (69.1%). Bivariate analysis with chi-square test obtained a p-value of 0.002 which means there is a relationship between mother's knowledge of treatment of fever in children under five years old during the covid-19 pandemic at integrated healthcare center basuki rahayu hamlet brenggang village argosari. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between mother's knowledge of treatment of fever in children under five years old during the covid-19 pandemic at integrated healthcare center basuki rahayu hamlet brenggang village argosari. Recommendation: Further researchers can also examine the factors that can affect knowledge.
