Abstract
Background: This pandemic has had many impacts in various sectors, one of which is in the field of education which requires students to carry out the online learning process, the impact resulting from these regulations causes many parents to experience stress because they have to accompany learning child at home. Research Objectives: To find out how the relationship between parents' stress levels in assisting children's learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at SD N 2 Tanjunganom, Kaliwiro District, Wonosobo Regency. Research Methods: This study uses descriptive quantitative research using a cross-sectional approach to 68 respondents. The instrument used is the online DASS questionnaire (42) with research analysis using Chi-Square. Research Results: From 68 respondents, it was found that the gender was female 36 respondents (52.9%), age 31-40 years 45 respondents (66.2%), the last education was junior high school 30 respondents (44.1%), occupation of housewives 25 respondents (36.8%). The level of parental stress was mild 26 respondents (38.2%), the school achievement of children's report cards decreased by 46 respondents (67.6%) and the results of statistical tests of the relationship between parents' stress levels and children's school achievement obtained p-value of 0.004. Recommendation: For parents and various parties involved in the online learning process, this can be used as a reference for an ongoing program to overcome parental stress levels in assisting children's learning during the pandemic.
