Abstract

Background: Pandemic covid 19 hit across the country took no exception Indonesia, the number of covid 19 improving due to so the government issued the policy regarding the activity of learning from home. For that the role of parents is increasing during the pandemic as a companion academic education, so as to need unknown whether there is the relationship between the roles of parents with learning outcomes of students that happened during home in progress learning activities. Objective: Know the relationship the role of parents with the results of home studying to the students of SDN 2 Prigi Sigaluh Banjarnegara in pandemic covid 19 era. Methods: The quantitative methods was used in the study of the correlation, the sample collection technique total of sampling to their students grade 4, 5th and 6th centuries that a total of 65 students of SDN 2 Prigi. An instrument research with the use of the questionnaire was the role of parents and a record of the observation students. Results: The frequency of the role of parents’ most common use is active as many as 60 students (92.3%) and to its frequency learning outcomes that was most often is good as many as 44 students (67.7%). The results of the analysis chi square or the value of p value 0,046 which would mean there are the relationships between the roles of parents with the results of their own generation pandemic covid 19 student learning. Conclusion: The existence of the relation between variables the role of parents with learning outcome home students of SDN 2 Prigi Sigaluh Banjarnegara. Recommendation: next researchers can use related to the interviews other external factors affecting the results of student to study in addition to the role of parents during lessons learned from home in the pandemic covid 19 era.
