Abstract

Background : Health service is one of the determining factors in the degree of public health. One of the targets is through Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) since it is a government health service that provides comprehensive, integrated, equitable, and affordable health services. Puskesmas provides preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative services through Community Health Efforts (UKM) and Individual Health Efforts (UKP). Goals of the Study : To determine the depiction of the Punggelan community’s behavior in using health services at the Puskesmas Punggelan I Banjarnegara Health Center. Research Methodology : This study applied a quantitative descriptive design with a descriptive survey approach. The population is 47,307 residents which 100 respondents as the sample using the cluster random sampling technique. Result of the Study : Knowledge (94%) is categorized as good and (6%) as sufficient. Health insurance (67%) is categorized as participants, and (33%) are not participants. The availability of health facilities and personnel (100%) indicates that they are available. Accessibility (75%) is indicated as easy, and (25%) is difficult. Individual assessment of the disease is (100%) positive. Information conventional shows (82%) is accessible and (18%) is difficult. Health services utilization at the Puskesmas shows that (80%) they did not utilize and (20%) utilized. Conclusion : The utilization of health services at the Puskesmas presents that most of them did not utilize (80%). Knowledge (94%) is good. Health insurance (67%) as the participant. The availability of health facilities and personnel (100%) indicates that they are available. Accessibility (75%) is easy. Individual assessment of the disease (100%) is positive. Information convenience shows (82%) easy Recommendations : Based on the results of this study, the writer hopes that it can be a reference for Puskesmas to improve health services, such as making Pustu (Puskesmas Pembantu) in each village that is included in the criteria, and reactivate the Mobile Health Center to ease the society maintaining their health in faster treatment. Moreover, it is expected that society improves more their knowledge and behavior in using health services.
