Abstract
Background: Parents should be involved in applying toilet training for their toddler. Their knowledge of giving toilet training is indispensible. Lack of knowledge about toilet training makes parents have a negative attitude in toilet training. The higher the knowledge level of a mother, the higher readiness to apply toilet training. Objective: To determine the correlation between knowledge and parents’ behaviour in applying toilet training for toddler in Sukomulyo Rowokele. Methods: This study used correlation method with cross sectional approach. 50 patients were taken as the samples by using total sampling technique. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis correlation using Kendal Thau test. Results: the findings show that most 80% respondents had good category of knowledge about toilet training and 74% had good category of toilet training implementation. Conclusion : there is a correlation between knowledge and parents’ behaviour in applying toilet training for toddler in Sukomulyo Rowokele
