Abstract

Background: Data from the Central Java Health Office in the second quarter of 2019, the maternal mortality rate was recorded at 331 people per 100,000 pregnancies. Pregnant women with preeclampsia can experience more stress than pregnant women without preeclampsia. Anxiety or stress due to preeclampsia in pregnant women if not treated will have an impact on the welfare of the mother and baby. Some of them can cause blood vessel spasm to worsen resulting in an increase in blood pressure, the birth of a baby with low weight, premature birth. One of these non-pharmacological techniques is to provide murrotal Al-Qur'an therapy to pregnant women with preeclampsia so that the welfare of the fetus is guaranteed. Objective: To analyze nursing care by giving murottal therapy to preeclampsia pregnant women with anxiety nursing problems at PKU Muhammadiyah Sruweng Hospital. Methods: This scientific paper uses a descriptive case study design. The subjects of the case study were 5 preeclampsia pregnant women, who experienced anxiety problems. Collecting data by using observation, interview and documentation study techniques. Results: From the five patients after the murrotal therapy relaxation of the Qur'an Surah Ar Rahman the level of anxiety decreased from moderate to mild anxiety levels. Conclusion: The results of applying the murrotal Al Qur'an Surah Ar Rahman innovation in preeclampsia pregnant women can reduce anxiety levels
