Abstract

Background: Chronic Kidney Failure is a disease where uranium is found in the blood, kidney function disorders are progressive and irreversible so they must be treated with hemodialysis, therapy has an effect on the patient’s physical and psychological conditions such as situational low self-esteem, helplessness, and hopelessness. Objectives: Analyzing the results of a case study in patients with situational low self– esteem using positive affirmation therapy in Chronic Kidney Disease patients. Disease at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital Method: The method is past form of case studies, the plural patients, the SOP is therapy positive affirmation, given nursing care by applying nursing actions generalist on situational low self-esteem with added positive affirmation therapy, therapy was carried out with a duration of 20 minutes, instruments for signs of situational low self-esteem and self-esteem Results: The results of the evaluation of the patient’s symptoms after performing generalist increase in self–esteem in K2 with a decrease of 8 (62%) low and the highest increase in self–esteem in K2 with a rating of 25 (63%) the next highest level of ability to the perform generalist nursing actions (SP) in K2 with an increase of 6 (100%) High. Conclusion: In a case study on situational low self – esteem patients with positive affirmative action on chronic kidney disease patients in the hemodialysis room of PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital, it can be concluded that chronic kidney failure patients experienced an increase in self – concept and increased ability. In doing positive affirmation therapy. Recommendation: Chronic Renal Failure patients who experience situational low selfesteem to be able to apply it
