Abstract

Background, Hypertension is an increase in systolic blood pressure 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure 90 mmHg during repeated examinations. One of the signs and symptoms of hypertension is headache. To reduce and control headaches can be done with non-pharmacological measures that can be used in hypertensive patients, namely the provision of Murottal Al-Qur'an Surat Ar-Rahman therapy. Objective, Analyzing nursing care by giving murottal therapy to hypertensive patients with acute pain nursing problems at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Methods, This method used a case study methods with a descriptive research design. Total sample were 5 patients. The instrument used is SOP Murrotal Ar-Rahman technique, NRS observation sheet. The applied of nursing innovation is Murottal Al- Qur'an Surat Ar-Rahman therapy given 1 time a day for 10-15 minutes and carried out for 3 days of treatment. Result, Patients with acute pain nursing problems were given Murotal Al-Quran Ar- Rahman therapy once a day for 3 days. The result is a decrease in pain intensity. Recommendation, Health workers can apply it to patients, and as a recommendation for Murotal Al-Quran Ar-Rahman therapy to reduce pain intensity in hospitals.
