Abstract
Background: Childbirth is the expulsion of the products of conception (fetus and uri) from the uterus through the birth canal or other routes. Sectio caesaria, namely making an incision in the abdominal wall and uterus of the mother and the fetus weighing more than 1000 grams or gestational age exceeding 28 weeks. Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue in an individual. Pain can be treated with pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods, one of which is lavender aromatherapy. General Objective: To analyze nursing care in post sectio caesaria patients with pain nursing problems at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Nursing Care Outcomes: Based on the results of the assessment of 5 patients, it was found that the main nursing problem was acute pain. After nursing actions were carried out giving lavender aromatherapy, the results showed a decrease in the pain scale, in patient 1 the pain scale from 7 to 2, patient 2 from 6 to 2, patient 3 from 8 to 3, patient 4 from 7 to 2, and in patient 5 from 7 becomes 2. Recommendation: The results of this study can be used as a reference and reference material for further research and can be applied as an intervention for students in managing pain in post sc mothers.
