Abstract
Background: Nutrients are food substances needed by human beings can live. Nutrition plays an important role in helping the process of growth and development of children and prevent various diseases. Nutrition deficiency may result in nutritional problems, are susceptible to infection because of their reduced immune defense and will impact chronic illness occurs. General purpose: provides an overview of nursing care with problems fulfilling the nutritional needs of patients LBW (low birth weight). Discussion: nursing problems that arise, especially on By. Ny. S is the ineffectiveness associated with the baby's diet is not strong suction reflex, the risk of infection associated with the immaturity of the immune system. Nursing actions undertaken to address the problem of ineffectiveness baby's diet is providing nutrition to patients through OGT. Interventions to address the problem of nursing risk of infection is to clean the incubator and changing every patient BAK / BAB. Evaluation: nursing diagnoses ineffectiveness of diet is not resolved expected baby nurses provide nutrients as needed, assess the patient's ability to suck, the risk of infection is resolved portion expected to nurse the incubator routine cleaning, changing diapers each patient's bladder / bowel movements.
