Abstract

Background: Sectio caesarea is a surgical treatment to remove the fetus which is carried out by abdominal wall surgery. The incidence of SC in maternity mothers has a pain effect. So that if it is not addressed quickly, it can lead to other problems such as increasing fear. Post SC pain is one of the problems that patients complain about after carrying out surgery in the hospital General purpose: To find out nursing care in postoperative caesarean section patients who experience pain with the application of Mozart music therapy in Banjarnegara Hospital. Method: This research uses a descriptive case study design, using music therapy operational procedures and pain scale measurement instrument sheets. Using the Numeric Rating Scale pain scale with a value range of 0-10. The number of samples in this study were 5 patients with postoperative sectio caesarea. Nursing care results: assessment of patients aged 24-39 years, all patients have given birth. Nursing diagnoses that appear all patients experience post-cesarean wound pain, Interventions carried out for all patients by performing nonpharmacological therapy in the form of Mozart music therapy, Evaluation of the five patients there is a decrease in pain scale , the patient looks more comfortable, relaxed. Recommendation: There is an effect of music therapy to reduce pain in postoperative sectio caesarea patients. Mozart's music therapy nursing intervention innovation can later be used as a Hospital SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for post SC patients with acute pain nursing problems
