Abstract
Background: heart disease is the world's greatest cause of death. A survey conducted by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2013 indicated the Its diagnosis that the prevalence of coronary heart disease in Indonesia reached 0.3% or around 883,447, based on symptoms reaching approximately 1.5% or some 2,650,340. The central Java province of 2013 totaled 69.51% or about 473,204 cases, and in 2014, 13,603. Based on the high rate of stemi cases in the community and the lack of knowledge to reduce pain in patients, so researchers conducted Benson therapy measures to reduce pain in stemi patients. Purpose: to analyze nursing care through the Benson technique administered to stemi patients in professor stemi's iccu rsud room Methods: the methods employed in this study are descriptive case studies. Child care: the problem of nursing in all five patients is acute pain. The intervention is Benson therapy. Implementation results were made that all five of them suffered severe pain relief. The evaluation of the action is that of the five patients mengn. Recommendation: Hospitals are expected to apply Benson therapy to reduce pain scale in the stem patients in the ICCU room.
