Abstract

Background: Diabetic foot ulcers are complications due to indications of neuropathy that cause or decrease pain in the legs, so that if the patient does not feel pain in the foot injury Diabet mellitus this is a clinical syndrome metabolic disorders that are accompanied by the absence of hyperglycemia caused by insulin secretion, insulin work, or both. Diabetic foot ulcers are intertwined due to problems in the blood flow of the limb blood vessels which is the manifestation of peripheral artery disease. Objective: to analyze wound nursing actions using honey in patients with type 2 diabetes in UPTD Puskesmas Banjarnegara 2. Method: this study uses descriptive case study design, research that seeks to descriptive an indication of events that are intertwined at the current or actual time. The number of samples in this study as many as 5 dm type 2 patients with diabetic ulcer wounds Research Result: Final evaluation of nursing action using honey therapy that is the patient feels more comfortable, the wound in the patient has changed in a better direction that is by showing the tissue that began to grow and the wound has improved Conclusion: There is efecivity in the treatment of leg ulcer wounds in patients with type 2 diabetes militus using honey.
