Abstract
Background: Infections in neonates is one of the highest causes of morbidity and mortality. Infant growth and development are largely determined by the amount of milk obtained. For premature infants the difficulties associated with the lack of sucking reflex so difficult to feed. Purpose: The purpose of this writing, performing nursing care meeting nutritional needs Results: Problems that arise are ineffective nursing infant feeding patterns associated with less suction reflexes, hypothermia associated with risk factors, the risk of infection associated with the immaturity of the immune system. Action: Author act of nutrition through the baby pacifier. Evaluation: Evaluation results for 3 days showed the ineffectiveness of infant feeding patterns associated with less suction reflexes partially resolved, the baby began to have a sucking reflex.
