Abstract
Background: Drugs are substances or mixtures of materials including biological products that are used to investigate and influence pathological conditions or physiological systems with the aim of promoting health, healing, prevention, determination, contraception and diagnosis of recovery for humans. Purpose of Research: To find out the level of public knowledge before and after giving drug leaflets and how the effect of drug information leaflets given by the community in Caruban village, Adimulyo district Research Methods: This type of research is a descriptive research method, which means that in research using survey techniques, questionnaires are proven by facts in the field. The sample used is 95 respondents. Results: Leaflets on respondents at the pretest majority of people with moderate knowledge with an average value of 52,547 ± 1,063. And based on the results of the research, it is known that drug knowledge through leaflet education media in the respondents at the pretest the majority of the people are highly knowledgeable with an average value of 68.379±1.052 Conclusion: The average value at the pretest was 52,547±1,063 and the posttest 68,379±1,052, it can be concluded that there is a difference and influence of the results before giving drug leaflet education and after giving drug leaflet education. Recommendation: It is hoped that future researchers can conduct more detailed research on drug information to the public so that they know more about the importance of drug information.
