Abstract

Background: The mortality rate of Corona Virus Disease-19 (Covid-19) in Indonesia due to the Covid-19 pandemic was reported at 8.9%, and this figure was the highest in Southeast Asia where on March 11, 2020 there were 693,224 cases and 33,106 deaths in Indonesia. the whole world. Pre-school age children are a critical age group because at that age children are vulnerable to Covid-19. The problem that often arises in pre-school children, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, is the lack of clean and healthy living behavior, especially the habit of washing hands. Objective: Analyzing nursing care at the stage of family development with preschoolaged children with the ineffectiveness of health care during the covid-19 pandemic in Sidoharjo Village. Methods: This scientific paper used a descriptive case study design. The subjects of the case study were 5 families with pre-school age developmental stages, who had problems with ineffective health care. Collecting data by using observation, interview and documentation study. Results: From the five families after being educated on the Implementation of the Covid- 19 Prevention and Control Health Protocol, the level of knowledge of the majority of clients increased from a sufficient level of knowledge with an average score of 57.2% to good knowledge with an average score of 80%. Conclusion: The results of the educational evaluation of the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Health Protocol in five families with the developmental stage of pre-school age were effective in overcoming the problem of ineffective health care being resolved with indicators of increasing knowledge from moderate to good
