Abstract

Background, Congestive heart failure is the inability of the heart to pump adequate blood to meet the issue needa for oxygen and nutrient. Research purpose, Analyzing nursing care in congestive heart failure in the provision of deep breathing exercise therapy with nursing problem decreased cardiac output. Research methods, This study uses a case study method with a descriptive research design. The number of samples as many as 5 patients. The instrument used is the SOP deep breathing exercise. The innovation that is applied is for 5 minutes in 5 cycles (1 cycles of 1 minute consisting of 5 deep breaths with a pause of 2 seconds for every 1 cycles) which is carried out 3 times a day for 3 days. The result study, Patients with nursing problem decreased cardiac output by being given the semi fowler position and deep breathing exercises given for 5 minutes in 5 cycles (1 cycles of 1 minute consisting of 5 deep breaths with a pause of 2 seconds for every 1 cycles) which is carried out 3 times a day for 3 days. The result is a decrease in the rhythm and frequency of breathing and improved oxygen saturation. Conclusion, Health workers can apply it to patients and as a recommendation for the semi fowler position and deep breathing exercises to reduce shortness of breath in hospital.
