Abstract

Background: WHO (World Health Organization) estimates that the incidence of surgery, especially laparotomy in the world in 2020, will reach 9% of the total world population. In postsurgery (post-surgery) patients feel severe pain and 75% of patients have an unpleasant experience due to inadequate pain management. Pain management can be done with pharmacological and non-pharmacological techniques. In patients who experience treatment can be done with nonpharmacological techniques. Non-pharmacological actions include psychoreligious therapy, one example of this therapy is Al-Qur'an therapy. Purpose: To Analyze Nursing Care for Post Laparotomy Clients With Main Nursing Problems Acute Pain In ICU Room PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital Methods: The research method is descriptive with a case study approach. The case study subjects that will be studied are 5 patients with the main problem of acute pain. The tools in this study are the nursing care format, Nursing Kit, SOP for Al-Qur'an therapy. The pain measurement tool that will be used uses the NRS Scale Measurement. Presentation of data that the author does by drawing conclusions based on subjective and objective data, which is presented in the documentation method and nursing care resume Results: The results of the study showed that all five patients had the same chief complaint of acute pain. Priority nursing diagnoses in Patients I-V were acute pain related to physiological injury as evidenced in five patients who complained of pain in the 6-7 range. Nursing interventions carried out were pain management and Murotal Al Qur'an. The implementation of nursing carried out is a comprehensive pain assessment, analgesic care and Murotal Al Qur'an. The results of the nursing evaluation on the five patients showed a decrease in the pain scale after the murottal Alqur'an was carried out in patients with acute post-laparotomy pain problems. Patients experienced a decrease in pain 1-3 scales. Recommendation: The results of this nursing care can be used as a reference for the preparation of non-pharmacological pain management SOPs for patients with acute post-laparotomy pain problems who experience acute pain
