Abstract

Background: Headache is a sensation of discomfort in the head that originates from deep structures. Headache is an uncomfortable sensation that some people have experienced. In this case headaches, only a few nurses apply non-pharmacological therapy, in general, nurses often rely on collaboration in providing without pain which is limited by the rules for its use. Seeing the importance of the nurse's role in providing non-pharmacological therapy that can be applied to cases of headache, it is necessary to have several techniques that can be applied. For this reason, researchers use a technique that can be used by nurses, namely the Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) in headache patients. Objective: To analyze nursing care giving hypnosis spiritual emotional freedom technique to cephalgia patients with acute pain in Prembun Hospital, Kebumen. Methods: The method used in this research is a descriptive case study method. Result the research of Nursing Care: The nursing problem in the five patients was acute pain. The intervention that will be carried out is SEFT therapy. From the results of the implementation, it was found that the five patients experienced a decrease in the pain scale. Evaluation of the action that of the five patients experienced a decrease in the pain scale. Recommendation: Hospitals are expected to apply SEFT therapy to reduce pain scale in cephalgia patients at Prembun Hospital.
