Abstract

Background: Stroke is a neurological deficiency that has a sudden onset, lasts more than 24 hours and is caused by cerebrovascular disease. Head up position is a flat position with the head 15-300 higher with the body position in a parallel state Objective: This study was to determine the effect of the head up position 15-300 on blood pressure and oxygen saturation in stroke patients Nursing Care Results: analysis of hemodynamic status on oxygen saturation showed P value = 0.009 so that there was an effect of Head Up position on oxygen saturation in stroke patients. Recommendation: The conclusion obtained from this study is that there is a significant difference in the average oxygen saturation before and after the head-up position of 15- 300.
