Abstract

Background : Phenomena of lifestyle changes in society globally, such as the easier it is to get ready meals to make consumption salt, fat, sugar and calories, which continue to increase so that it plays a big role in increasing the incidence of hypertension. Hypertension sufferers need gymnastics hypertension because it increases the knowledgeso that patients can apply hypertensive gymnatics to stabilize the boold pressure. Hypertensive gymnastics is also a pharmacological therapy that is by doing movements gymnastics regularly. Objective : To apply hypertensive gymnastics in elderly patients with hypertension to stabilize blood pressure in Klopogodo Village. Method : Case study conducted by the author on August 23, 2021 to August 31, 2021 in klopogodo village. Method the writing of this scientific paper use desciptive methods of application of cases with the approach of the elderly nursing proses. Participation of 2 elderly people who suffered hypertension. The instrument used is a blood pressure pressure meter (sphygmanometer). Result : Evalution after being is a decrease in blood pressure and increased knowledge of blood pressure 160/90 mmHg to 140/90 mmHg there was a 23% increase in knowledye 76% (participant 1) and 170/100 mmHg to 150/90 mmHg there was an increase in know ledge from 40% to 76% (participant 2). Conclusion : The application of gymnastic hypertension effective for mestabilkan blood pressure and also improve knowledge of hypertension. Recommendations : The application of gymnastic hypertension can be done for the treatmenst of pharmocolgy elderly that experienced hypertension.
