Abstract

Background : Smartphone use behavior in children is very high. Data in 2014 showed that active smartphone users reached 47 million, or about 14% of all smartphone users. The prevalence of smartphone use is increasingly rapid and places Indonesia in the 5th largest smartphone use. The phenomenon of smartphone use behavior in Dukuh Rejosari Village, shows almost all children aged 3-6 years already get a smartphone without serious assistance from parents. Smartphones have a negativ impact. Massive smartphone use can affect a child's behavior, physiological and psychological aspects. Objective : To know the description of the Behavior of Smartphone Use In Preschool Children Aged 3-6 Years In the Village of Dukuh Rejosari. The method: This type of research is quantitative. Descriptive research methods with a survey approach. The sample numbered 50 respondents with a random sampling technique. The instrument used is the adoption of hafiz al-Ayouby's 2017 research. Data analysis uses descriptive. Results : the Behavior of smartphone use in preschool children aged 3-6 years in the Village of Dukuh Rejosari the most is with the behavior of the high as much as 35 children or 70%. The respondent is with the behavior of low-i.e., 5 a 10%.. Conclusion : the Behavior of smartphone use in preschool children aged 3-6 years in the Village of Dukuh Rejosari the most is with the behavior of as high as 70%. The respondent is with the behavior of low as 10%. Recommendations : the Need for mentoring children in handling the behavior of the use of smartphones in pre-school children.
