Abstract

Background: Asthma disease is included in the 5 list of diseases that cause death and ranks second after COPD. Asthma is a disease characterized by narrowing of the airways in the lungs and swelling which causes the patient to have difficulty breathing. Giving Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise therapy This therapy is carried out with maximum inspiration through the nose, the main movement with the abdomen, limiting chest movement and expiratory breathing through the mouth. Destination: Describing Nursing Care for Ineffective Breathing Patterns in Bronchial Asthma Patients with Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise Therapy at the PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Emergency Room. Methods: This study used descriptive methods, the data obtained interview techniques, observation and documentation in the form of nursing care. Respondents in this study were 3 adult patients suffering from bronchial asthma with nursing problems of ineffective breathing patterns. Analysis and presentation of data used in this study is using narrative techniques. Conclusion: Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise therapy in the three patients RR decreased, Spo2 increased in bronchial asthma patients with the results of Mrs. S SPO2 97% and RR 22 x/min. Mrs. A SPO2 95% and RR 22 x/min. Mrs. A SPO2 98% and RR 22x/min.
