Abstract
Background: Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a disease with an increasing rate of spread every year. The Ministry of Health noted that in 2022, the cumulative number of dengue cases in Indonesia until the 22nd week was reported to be 45,387 cases. Meanwhile, the number of deaths from dengue fever reached 432 cases. Clean and healthy living behavior is one of the preventive efforts (prevention of a disease or health problem) and promotive (improvement of health status) in a person. Human behavior is formed from predisposing factors, namely knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, beliefs and values. Based on these facts, the risk of being exposed to the mosquito bite virus for Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is very large. The priority of controlling DHF is based on the decree of the Minister of Health number 581/MENKES/SK/VII/1992, among which it is emphasized that the eradication of DHF focuses on efforts to eradicate dengue. prevention by empowering and increasing community participation through the PSN 3M plus movement, especially the risk of potentials that arise in the season with high rainfall intensity Objective: To describe Nursing Care by improving Family Health Management at the Developmental Stage of school-age children to improve health status and efforts to suppress the spread of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). Methods: This research uses descriptive method, data collection uses interview, observation and questionnaire techniques. The respondents of this study consisted of 3 assisted families in the Sempor sub-district. Result: after being taught PHBS health education and management of preventing the spread of dengue hemorrhagic fever for 5 days, the results showed that the level of knowledge of the three respondents had increased.. Conclusion: PHBS counseling and management of preventing the spread of dengue hemorrhagic fever can increase family knowledge
