Abstract

Background: Hypertension is a non-communicable disease but it can be a serious and dangerous health problem so you need to be vigilant. The state of blood pressured in the main arteries is too high. Hypertension is an increased in blood pressured due to obstruction of the supply of oxygen and nutrients carried throughout the body, an increased in systolic blood pressure of 140 mmHg or more and diastolic blood pressured of 90 mmHg or more. Handling of hypertensive patients with pharmacological and nonpharmacological methods. One of the non-pharmacological methods is deep breathed relaxation therapy and listened to the Qur'an murotal which can reduced pain intensity and blood pressured. Objective: Described nursing care for hypertensive patients with deep breathed relaxation therapy and listened to the Qur'an murotal to reduced pain intensity and high blood pressured. Method: This study used a descriptive method through a case study approach. Data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The respondents of this study consisted of 3 hypertensive patients with complaints of pain, fulfilling the inclusion criteria. The instruments used are assessment formats, tensimeters, thermometers, earphones, cellphones, SOPs for deep breathed therapy and listened to murotal Al-Qur'an, observation sheets. Results: After applied for 3 consecutive days all respondents experienced a decreased in pain intensity and blood pressured. Conclusion: Deep breathed relaxation therapy and listened to murotal Al-Qur'an can reduced pain intensity and blood pressure.
