Abstract

Background: Children with a history of LBW have a greater risk of developmental delays, including fine motor development. The fine motor can be improved by playing activities, one of which is playing puzzles. Puzzle is an educational game that can be a stimulus to train accuracy, the movement of the child's eyes and hands can unwittingly improve their fine motor development. Objective: Describing nursing care plays a puzzle in patients with a history of low birth weight who are at risk of having developmental disorders. Methods: The method used to the quantitative method of narrative design. Data were obtained from observations, interviews, and assessments of respondents. Results: After being given puzzle playing therapy there were changes in fine motor development and reduced respondent complaints. Recommendation: The application of puzzle play therapy can be applied by hospitals and posyandu to improve children's motor development, especially fine motor.
