Abstract

Background: According to world organization (WHO) on In 2019 , there were 78% of HIV/AIDS infections in the Asia Pacific Region and 72% spread in Indonesia to housewives. HIV / AIDS is an infectious disease that attacks white blood cells which causes the body's immunity to decrease. The high number of HIV/AIDS cases in Central Java in Selokerto Village in women is increasing every year. Therefore, the measurement of knowledge of HIV/AIDS among women of childbearing age in Selokerto village was carried out. Objective: To determine the level of knowledge of women of childbearing age by using e-booklet media. Methods: This type of research was descriptive with a case study group design and posttest . Data obtained from interview and documentation . Respondents were 5 women of childbearing age who had meet the inclusion criteria. The instrument used are HIV/AIDS knowledge questionnaire, informed consent and cell phone . Results: After applying for 1 day all respondents experienced an increase in their knowledge before being given health education using e-booklets, it was categorized as adequate and after being given health education using e-booklets . By using the e-booklet method, the knowledge of women of childbearing age increased by a difference of 6.2 scores. Conclusion: The application of using e-booklets is effective in increasing the knowledge of women of childbearing age
