Abstract

Background: Craniotomy is an operation to open the skull (cranium) with the aim of repairing and detecting damage to the brain. In post-surgery patients, especially craniotomy, complications often occur, namely ineffective cerebral tissue perfusion. One thing that nurses can do is sensory auditory stimulation. Objective: to explain nursing care in post op craniotomy head injury patients with auditory sensory stimulation intervention to treat nursing problems perfusion risk cerebral not effective in ICU Prof. dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto Hospital. Methods: The research method is descriptive with a case study approach. The case study subjects that will be studied are 5 post-op craniotomy head injury patients with the risk of ineffective cerebral perfusion. The tools in this study were the nursing care format, Nursing Kit, observation sheet for signs and symptoms of ineffective cerebral perfusion risk and SOP for sensory auditory stimulation. Presentation of data that the author does by drawing conclusions based on subjective and objective data, which is presented in the documentation method and nursing care resume Results: The results of the study showed that all five patients had the same chief complaint of decreased consciousness. Priority nursing diagnosis in Patients I-V is the risk of ineffective cerebral perfusion related to side effects of action (tumor excision craniotomy). The nursing interventions carried out were the management of increased intracranial pressure and sensory-auditory stimulation of the Qur'an. The implementation of nursing carried out is increasing intracranial pressure and stimulation of auditory auditory murrotal al qur'an. The results of the nursing evaluation on the five patients showed that the nursing problem of cerebral perfusion risk was not effectively resolved with an indication of an increase in GCS. Innovative action of sensory auditory stimulation to overcome the nursing problem of ineffective cerebral perfusion risk in post-op craniotomy head injury patients effectively increases GCS 3-7.
