Abstract

Background: One of the basic human needs disorders that appear in patients after Sectio Caesarea surgery is acute pain associated with physical injury agents. Pain, especially in the post section caesarea are of the abdomen , causing discomfort. General Purpose: To describe the analysis of the nursing care process in patients section caesarea with acute pain of nursing problems at Flamboyant Room of Prof. Dr. Margono Soekardjo Purwokerto Hospital. Methods: Actions taken to reduce acute pain by providing foot massage therapy once a day with a duration of 10 minutes for 2 consecutive days Nursing Care Outcomes: The five patients had a top priority nursing diagnosis, namely acute pain related to physiological injury agents. Intervention with the aim of improving pain control based on the Indonesian Nursing Outcome Standard and using pain management based on the Indonesian Nursing Intervention Standard. The actions given are pain management and providing foot massage as non-pharmacological therapy. The nursing evaluation for the five patients was that the pain had not been resolved and there was a significant decrease in the level of pain with a pain scale range of 2-4. Recommendation: Foot massage therapy is very good for postoperative patients with Sectio Caesarea as therapy to reduce acute pain levels
