Abstract
Background: Hypertension is a condition where blood pressure experiences a persistent increase, every time the heart beats, the heart will pump blood to blood vessels, then carry blood throughout the body. A person is said to be hypertensive when the systolic blood pressure is equal to more than 130 mmHg and the diastolic blood pressure is more than 80 mmHg. One of the complementary therapies that can control blood pressure is the murotal therapy of the Qur'an surah Ar Rahman. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of murotal therapy of the Qur'an on the decrease in blood pressure in people with hypertension in Tamansari village. Objective: Describe nursing care in clients with the application of murotal therapy to reduce the blood pressure of hypertensive patients in Tamansari Village, Butuh District. Research Method: This Scientific Paper is in the form of a case study with elderly subjects with a history of hypertension as many as 3 respondents in Tamansari Village which was carried out for 3 days. To find out the presence of a decrease in blood pressure is documented on the observation sheet. Case Study Results: After being given murotal therapy for 3 days, the blood pressure of hypertensive patients decreased. Client 1 from blood pressure 135/105 mmHg to 120/90 mmHg, in client 2 from blood pressure 145/110 mmHg to 125/90 mmHg, in client 3 from blood pressure 140/100 mmHg to 120/85 mmHg. Conclusion: The application of murotal therapy can lower blood pressure in hypertensive patients.
