Methods, This research is a non-experimental descriptive study. The stages of the research carried out include, sample collection, sample preparation, sample homogenization, ALT and AKK testing. Results, the results of the research conducted on jamu gendong of turmeric acid and saffroncolored rice at Kuwarasan and Purwogondo Markets, Kebumen Regency, obtained ALT samples of turmeric acid and kencur rice met the required ALT value of not more than 105 colonies/g. The AKK test at the Kuwarasan market for the sample of herbal saffron-colored rice, namely seller B 3 x 103 and Purwogondo Market, sample of saffron-colored rice herb seller B 3.8 x 103 did not meet the requirements for the AKK value of not more than 103 colonies. The results of statistical tests showed that the data were not significantly different; it indicated that the number of colonies for each seller was not much different Conclusion, based on the results of this study, ALT in the samples of turmeric tamarind and saffron-colored rice met the ALT value requirements of not more than 105 colonies/g. The results of the AKK research on the turmeric tamarind herbal medicine sample and the saffron-colored rice herb seller B at Kuwarasan market and the saffron-colored rice herb medicine seller at the Purwogondo market did not meet the AKK value requirement of not more than 103 colonies/g.
