Abstract

Background, the high rate of transmission of the Covid-19 virus has claimed many lives. For this reason, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia makes rules regarding health protocols such as maintaining wine, washing hands, reducing mobilization, avoiding crowds and wearing masks. Objectives, the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge of Covid-19 and parental involvement in compliance with the use of masks in children. Methods, the method of this research was a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The sample consists of 30 respondents with a total sampling technique. Results, of this study showed that there was a relationship between knowledge of Covid- 19 and parental involvement in compliance with the use of masks in children. Conclusion, this study was that knowledge of Covid-19 and parental involvement is related to compliance with the use of masks in children. Recommendations, further researchers are recommended to be able to develop research with other factors that can encourage the achievement of health protocol compliance.
